Major new cancer centre proposed for Merseyside and Cheshire – Consultation

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre (CCC) is conducting a public consultation beginning today on proposals to transform cancer care in Merseyside and Cheshire, firmly establishing the region as a world-class centre for cancer treatment and research.

CCC would very much welcome your thoughts and involvement in the consultation and would also appreciate any assistance you could offer in sharing this information more widely across your networks networks.

Read the letter below outlining the reasons for transforming cancer treatment.

Getting Involved

There are lots of ways you can get involved in Transforming Cancer Care:

Attend a consultation event – CCC will be going out across Merseyside and Cheshire and new roadshow dates are being added all the time. Click here to see what’s happening in your area.

Respond to the consultation questionnaire – You can give your views by completing the consultation questionnaire online or by contacting the Consultation Team on 0151 296 7068 or engagement@cmcsu.nhs.uk.

Tell your story – They will also be publishing various patient and staff comments, case studies, podcasts, and film and audio clips during the consultation. If you’d like to be involved – e.g. saying what the proposals might mean for you (or others), and the reasons why – then contact the Communications Team on 0151 482 7792 or communications.team@clatterbridgecc.nhs.uk
