Knowsley Transport Policy explained
Many of you will be affected by changes in the way you access transport to and from services in the borough.
The new official Discretionary Adult Transport Policy which was launched by Knowsley Council on 5 October 2015 is now being implemented. The key points are:
- The charge is £3 per journey
- Everyone must go through a checklist and have a transport plan to receive the service
- It is a discretionary service and it can be withdrawn if the individual has a mobility car
- It is not financially assessed and therefore not linked to the KMBC Charging Policy
