Ataxia North-West is a newly set up support group for people who have, and those affected by, Ataxia.
Ataxia is a rare neurological condition affecting balance and coordination. This progressive, debilitating condition affects all muscles as the condition progresses.
There is currently no cure.
Ataxia NW offers support for all members and their monthly meetings at The Brain Charity provide a chance to meet and share experiences as well as offering practical support. The group aim to raise awareness and funds for the support group and help Ataxia UK to make advances to finding a cure. They are welcoming and inclusive to all so please come along.
