BIG Creative
What is the BIG Creative?
The BIG Creative is a monthly arts and crafts session for adults with a learning disability and /or autism.
We usually meet at the KDC office on Tarbock Road in Huyton on the first Monday of every month so it has come to be known as ‘Messy Monday’!
Messy Mondays have continued during the lockdown. Making fun arts and crafts, and running drawing sessions on zoom, you can see some of the results in the gallery below
BIG Creative offers you
a great chance to learn new art skills, show off the art skills you already have, and meet new friends.
Each session we produce different creative art and crafts based on the theme of the session.
Each session we produce different creative art and crafts based on the theme of the session. Some of the themes we have done in the past include:
- Autumn-themed dream catchers and hedgehogs
- Bonfire-themed pictures
- Sock snowmen and Christmas decorations
- Owl pictures and winter canvases
- Chinese New Year crafts
- St Patrick’s Day water colour paintings
