Knowsley Council is holding public consultations on a number of key planning documents. The purpose of these documents is to help determine how Knowsley will develop in the future. This includes building more homes, creating more jobs, improving green spaces and supporting economic development and growth in the borough. 1. LOCAL PLAN CORE STRATEGY
Sets out a vision and strategy for the development of Knowsley and its communities up to 2028. Residents and businesses now have an opportunity to comment on proposed changes to the plan, known as ‘modifications’.
2. SUPPLEMENTARY PLANNING DOCUMENTS
Covering 3 large proposed Sustainable Urban Extensions at:
• Knowsley Lane, Huyton
• East of Halewood
• South of Whiston and land south of M62
3. KNOWSLEY INDUSTRIAL AND BUSINESS PARKS: LOCAL DEVELOPMENT ORDER
The draft Knowsley Industrial and Business Parks: Local Development Order will support the regeneration of this key economic area by granting planning consent for certain types of development.
