Advocacy Services in Knowsley

What is Advocacy?

Most of us at sometime in our lives speak up for others, or hope that some one will speak up for us when we need support.

There are some groups of people that may require more help than others.

This is particularly the case for people with learning disabilities because they are at risk of being ignored.

What does an Advocate do?

  • An advocate works to make things happen and change
  • An advocate tries to make sure that people have the same chances as everybody else in the community
  • An advocate helps people to make choices of their own life.

Do you need someone to help you to speak up?
Do you need someone to listen to you?
Do you need someone who can help you think about your choices?

If the answer is yes and you need someone to help you speak up about what YOU want, contact the Advocacy Together Hub Knowsley on
